How is PV array size calculated?
PV array size (kW) = daily energy use (kWh) / (peak sun hours x usable system factor). A 20% loss setting uses a 0.8 usable factor.
What if I have partial sun?
Fewer peak sun hours means a larger PV array is needed for the same daily energy target. Shading and orientation need separate review.
Is this a complete solar design?
No. It does not account for shading, orientation, local weather, inverter clipping, regulations, or detailed system design.
